First Mentor is a joint initiative between the Scottish Government and Young Scot, offering one young woman aged 18 to 23 the opportunity to be mentored by the First Minister for a year. First Mentor is running for a second year and young women can find out how to apply by visiting Young Scot’s website here.
The opportunity opened for applications on International Women’s Day (8 March) 2018 and closes on 31 May 2018.
This year the First Minister is inviting other women to join her, by pledging to give some of their time to support another woman or girl to achieve her potential through mentoring.
